COMMUNICATION
You can contact us by phone or email, however our preferred mode of for detailed communication is email since this gives us a record of issues and we can track how they were dealt with. Our main communication link is through Skolera our Learning Management System (LMS). It supports several features as listed below:
Skolera allows for us to:
Send Emails To Users
Communication is the key to the success of any school and here at the IBSA, we aim to be effective in our communication. We can easily send emails or mobile SMS to you the parents and students to keep you informed of any updates, events, fees due, or upcoming meetings, etc.
- Set Up Email Automatic Notifications
To save you time and effort and to avoid unwanted delays, we can set up notifications to be automatically sent by email. We can specify when to send notifications and to whom, so you only get emails that are pertinent to you.
- Staff and Students Task Management
We can create tasks and assign them to staff or students in our school. we can then follow up on the status and progress of these tasks to ensure they are being completed.
We have a transparent system for concerns raised by parents, students, and staff. These policies and procedures are accessible to all. The form and policies are available on the school’s website under communication. We do ask that you follow these procedures, since these have been shown to be the most effective way of achieving a rapid outcome to any concerns.
At the IBSA we know that a good education is built on a strong partnership between parents and the school. It would be strange if during the time your child is with us (normally 13 years) if at some point you did not have a concern about something.
Many issues raised by parents, the community, or pupils, are concerns rather than complaints. We are committed to taking concerns seriously, at the earliest stage, in the hope of keeping the number of formal complaints to a minimum and without needing formal procedures. So, we welcome suggestions for improving our work in school. Be assured that, no matter what you want to tell us, our support and respect for your child will not be affected in any way. So please tell us of your concern as soon as possible.
Depending on the nature of the complaint, you may be asked to follow the school’s formal complaints procedure. For the school to be able to investigate and record a complaint properly. The form and the policy showing the process is available on this page. It shows an outline of the stages we will take to resolve complaints.
